Thank you for the junk modelling donations, they were much appreciated!

Next week we will continue our weather observations and have a go at being weather forecasters by looking at examples from TV and becoming familiar with weather-related vocabulary. We will also be writing simple sentences describing the weather so that we can practice using capital letters, full stops and leaving spaces between words.

In maths we will be working on ordering numbers to 10/20 or beyond as well as learning about ordinal numbers (first, second, third etc) and using numberlines. In art, we will be looking at our favourite story illustrations and making our own versions to brighten up our book corner.

On Monday afternoon it will be the turn of the Earth and Fire teams to go to Forest Camp and on Tuesday the children will be having their individual photos taken. There is no swimming this week, but the disco for Kites and Years 1, 2 and 3 is on Thursday afternoon from 4.15-5.15pm. On Friday afternoon KS1 are taking part in their sponsored dance, so we hope they have been practising their best moves!
