This week we have enjoyed our vegetable printing and it is clear that this class really love to make things. Please feel free to send in some of your recycling for them to get creative with – and be prepared for its speedy return!! In particular, they love a large cardboard box, so please send them our way.

Next week is a four day week (there is a INSET day on Friday, so the school is closed) and we will be beginning to make weather observations and look at different weather symbols. We will also be talking about the climate in different parts of the globe.

In maths we will be comparing numbers using greater than, less than and equal to and also using the symbols <, > and =. Here is a game on sequencing numbers – you can adjust the difficulty. Caterpillar ordering .

Continuing our fruit and veg theme in DT, we will be peeling and chopping vegetables and looking at how they are grown. In PHSCE we will be talking about our strengths and what we are like.

On Monday Year 1 have their flu vaccinations and Forest Camp is for the Air and Water teams. On Wednesday afternoon we have swimming.
