The children have been writing descriptions of the beanstalk this week and had some great ideas. Next week they will be planning their own alternative versions of Jack and the Beanstalk – but with a different plant! The Fire and Water teams are at Forest Camp on Monday and on Tuesday morning there is a drama workshop. We will also be catching up on some of the geography (countries of the UK) and computing (keyboard practice) which has proved difficult to fit into a four day week!

Maths is simple division, grouping and sharing different numbers of objects – a great opportunity to emphasize ‘sharing fairly’ at home.

Miss Snowden’s class will be swimming this week.
