The application process for secondary schools starts in September 2026 and we have prepared a list of local secondary schools to help you with this selection process.  We would strongly encourage you to take the opportunity to visit schools in person to see whether a school is suitable for your child and their needs.

If you are considering a selective school (Reading Boys or Kendrick Girls) or an independent school, there are Open Days for current Y5s coming up this term (and their application dates are different to the state school dates).
