On Tuesday we took our ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams from Year 3/4 and 5/6 to MECE for the first round of the annual Quad Kids competition. We were hoping to take our winning momentum from the indoor athletics earlier in the year into the outdoor season.

After the usual combination of sprinting, distance running, throwing and jumping, our Year 3/4 ‘B’ team narrowly missed out on a place in the next round. There was better news for our ‘A’ team in this age group, who came first and secured their place in the South Oxfordshire Final.

Our Y5/6 ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams also enjoyed a successful afternoon, coming first and second respectively to both qualify for the next round.

A big thank you to those who walked with us and supported us all afternoon, and a tremendous well done to all of the children for their efforts!
