On Tuesday our Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics teams travelled to MECE for the opening round of this year’s competition. There is no next round for Year 3/4, but our Year 5/6 team, as defending champions, were eager to put down a marker for the rest of the indoor athletics season.

After lots of brilliant running, throwing, jumping and speed bouncing, we are delighted to say that our Year 3/4 squad won their competition by 8 points – a great achievement with many of the team representing the school for the first time.

Our Year 5/6 team kept the winning momentum going in the afternoon, winning their competition by 41 points to secure our place in the South Oxfordshire Final.
