On Tuesday the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 Quad Kids teams travelled to MECE to compete in the first round of the annual Quad Kids competition. After finishing as Y3/4 and Y5/6 champions last year, we were keen to put our practice into action and make the best possible start to this campaign.

After plenty of sprinting, distance running, throwing and jumping, it was great to see that all of our early morning training sessions had paid off. Our Y3/4 and Y5/6 ‘A’ teams both came first, winning their respective trophies and qualifying for the South Oxfordshire Final after half term!

More good news followed, with our Y3/4 ‘B’ team finishing in second place – also qualifying for the next round!

Although our Y5/6 ‘B’ team finished in a commendable 3^rd place, they were unlucky not to qualify for the next round.

Year 5/6: Louie B, Arthur S, Xavi O’B-W, Maison E, Wynter G, Elsie D, Lola B, Evie Q, Sylvie F, Hazel B-M, Joe S, Noah S, Freddie P, Ethan D, Levi B, Ella W, Georgie Q, Sophie A, Bethany B and Ella-Lily B.
