On Wednesday 7th February the year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics team also travelled to Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge for the first round of the competition, looking to qualify for the regional final in March.

After almost two hours of running, jumping, throwing and speed bouncing, we were announced as winners of the competition with a whopping 261 points, and thus sealed our place in the regional final as well as an opportunity to defend our title from last year!

An excellent effort from all that led to a great result – all built on the courts and playgrounds of SCPS in winter temperatures of minus 4 and 5.
