On Thursday, the school was treated to a visit by the illustrator of the Winnie the Witch series of books, Korky Paul. Kites listened to him read a story and then demonstrated how he draws Winnie and Wilbur (we were allowed to keep his drawing!). He was extremely entertaining and we all enjoyed his visit.

Korky was then extremely generous and drew us another picture so that we could collage it. On Friday, Kites worked as a team to select materials that would be suitable for different parts of the picture and then used glue and tape to attach them.
