I am sure that for many reasons you are as excited about the new school year and what challenges and successes it will bring to us all, as I am. The first few days have seen so many happy faces, staff as well as pupils, sharing stories of their holidays and now sharing their expectations for the forthcoming months. There are lots of ways to help the smooth running of the school, needless to say having all of your child’s clothing named and all of the right ‘stuff’ in school on the right day really helps. It is our aim to work in partnership with you all so please come in and speak to your child’s class teacher, if you have any concerns about your child or any great news that you would like to share. If you are unable to come in and would like to contact your child’s class teacher then please phone or e-mail. We share with the whole school population any significant successes achieved outside of school so do not feel shy in telling us about your child’s successes wherever they are achieved.
Last year was one of our most successful ever in the schools’ history in almost every area. Our academic achievements were the best ever and our sporting and artistic achievements were also outstanding. We are looking forward to great successes this year again in every area and hope that you are able to give your valuable time to help us. I look forward to meeting with you soon.
