The deadline for applications for secondary school places (for parents and carers of current Year 6 children for September 2018 entry is 31st October 2017. The deadline is the same for people who live in Oxfordshire and in Reading.
You should apply to the council in the area in which you live, regardless of which county the secondary school is.
Any applications received after this date are likely to be considered late, and will have a far less likely chance of securing a place at your preferred secondary school.
For Oxfordshire residents
